What is Zn-Al-Mg ?

Zinc aluminum-magnesium coated steel is a new type of corrosion-resistant coated steel sheet consisting mainly of zinc, about 11% aluminum, 3% magnesium and trace amounts of silicon.
Z-A-M is a highly corrosion-resistant hot-dip Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium alloy coated steel sheet. Due to the effects of magnesium and aluminum, Z-A-M has excellent corrosion resistance, scratch resistance and formability.

Mg and Al in the coating layer combine to form a line, tightly adhered protective film.

This thin surface structure suppresses corossion of the ZAM coating, so it effectively enhances overoll corossion resistance.
